This allows someone to have a simple all-in-one desktop through their web browser. First, get the image by cloning this repository and building it: ``` docker build -t ubuntu18-xfce-desktop . ``` or by pulling from Docker Hub: ``` docker pull cyverse/ubuntu18-xfce-desktop ``` Then, run it: ``` docker run -ti -p 8080:8080 ubuntu18-xfce-desktop ``` When the container finishes starting up, it will present you with a link to access the desktop. You can set the resolution during startup by using environment variables with: `-e RES=1280x1024` By default, the container starts up with SSH and VNC connections enabled in Guacamole. The `-v` or `--vnc-only` option can be passed to the entrypoint to only enable VNC: ``` docker run -ti -p 8080:8080 ubuntu18-xfce-desktop --vnc-only ```
